Working with Families
Working with families can be complex and this dynamic can be challenging, exciting and rewarding. If the facilitators put in place knowledge/education, strong ground rules and healthy boundaries they can have faith that healing will continue and grow once their part of the work has been completed.
- Objectivity is fundamental in facilitating group work. The facilitators need to stay off the 'Drama Triangle'
- Permission, Protection and Potency (TA) create a safe and fertile space – Non Violent Communication allows for compassionate listening and respectful interaction
- You must be the change you want to see in the world
Mahatma Ghandi
